Contribution of maintenance of livestock production patterns to the total income of households in coastal communities (case study in lembar district, lombok barat regency, west nusa tenggara province)

This research is a case study in Lembar Subdistrict, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This research was conducted with the aim of providing a description of the income and contribution of cattle rising for profit sharing patterns to the total income of coastal households in Lembar District, West Lombok Regency. A total of 60 members of the coastal community were used as respondents selected by simple random sampling. The measured variable consisted of cattle livestock input-output variables, and the contribution of cattle rising to the total household income of coastal communities. The results of the study showed: (1) the net income obtained by farmers was on average Rp. 3,656,736 per year or an average of Rp. 304,726 per month, and (2) the contribution of raising cattle to the total income of the families of coastal communities on average is 6.54%. The total income of coastal communities in Lembar District, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, averaged Rp. 55,893,548 per year.
